This tune was composed in the 1980s by The Red Hots fiddle
player Joe Thrift in honour of his favourite whitefaced cow.
Inspired by the tune’s innate spooky groove, we expanded the
lyrics to create a murderous, brooding ode to the ancient
psychedelic drug, poison and renaissance-era makeup essential,
deadly nightshade.
